Boxerfit was Founded in England in 1994,  Boxerfit founder HARRY ESCOTT now lives in New Zealand, the perfect home for the Boxerfit way of life.

Boxerfit founder Harry Escott grew up in a family devoted to boxing. Turning professional at 17, he boxed the best in the world in his weight class, reaching #4 in the UK and #21 in the world.  Harry’s boxing career took him from the UK to South Africa to Europe before his retirement in 1997 with 48 professional fights to his name.


Having successfully established Boxerfit UK  in 1994, he moved to New Zealand in 2006 where his personal athletic achievements took on a new direction. Harry ran the Everest Marathon in 2007, the Mongolia Sunrise to Sunset 100 km ultra marathon in 2008, and in November 2008 skipped the Auckland Marathon in 3:57:25, cutting 31 minutes of the previous world record.

 Harry’s passion for running, mountain biking and road biking have been rediscovered on arrival in New Zealand. He is a fully qualified mountain bike guide and experienced cycling coach and mechanic as well as a handful of fitness qualifications.
